About the Session

In a context in which the mass protests appeared, and the protests took to the platforms in the streets, what are the dynamics of the mutual influence between theater and revolution? How has this relationship developed over the last ten years?  How do theater practitioners face the challenges of writing about the revolution? On the other hand, what are the implications of recent tendencies that highlight the therapeutic use of theater in communities marked by war and enforced displacement? This panel brings together practitioners and researchers from different backgrounds and generations of theater and orientations to reflect on current tendencies in the field.
